Knowing your planet is a step towards protecting it
JACQUES-YVES COUSTEAU
Environmental engineer, freelancer, graduated with a master degree at the Trento University in 2012, UNESCO chair.
I collaborated with “Studio tecnico e di consulenza Dott. Agr. Alberto Bergianti” (located in Puianello di Quattro Castella – RE) to work and develop naturalistic engineering projects, topographic measurement, funds disbursement paperwork for farming and sewers design.
I participated in the drafting of the LIFE11 ENV IT/00243 project “Life RII Riqualificazione Integrata Idraulico-ambientale dei rii appartenenti alla fascia pedemontana dell’Emilia Romagna”; I also took part on the plan for ordinary manteinance of the public hydraulic network of Consorzio di Bonifica dell’Emilia Romagna. I have done many hydraulic studies using application such as HEC-RAS e SWMM.
Earlier, I participated in two international cooperation projects in developing countries such as Mozambique first and then Equador. Due to these two very important experiences, I have reached an higher personal awareness on my job and on different cultures throughout the world.
The last project in Equador had been the central subject of my degree thesis which won a scholarship and a graduation prize provided from the G. Lorenzin Association in Portogruaro (Venice)
In 2012 I did my most recent international work experience in Kosovo where I spent 3 months in a city to develope a feasibility study of management of the waste water.
From September 2013 and April 2014, I worked for the environmental forestry department of the Consorzio di Bonifica dell’Emilia Centrale.
At the moment I work as freelancer engineer, specialised in hydraulic
